Introduction

This an essay, slightly edited, that I wrote in this past summer in response to reading C.J. Mahaney's Living the Cross-Centered Life. I got positive feedback about its devotional value, so I'm giving it its own blog. This truly is the result of giving a lot of deep thought to the saving work of Christ, so I hope this can be of help to others.
